Happy New Year...I know it's a bit late!

Hellooo everyone

I hope you all had a good Christmas and a happy new year.... i know it's near the end of January but seriously where has time gone!! but me being me i'm either behind with everything or super organised never seem to run on time.... most be a Libra thing!

Sooo i've joined the art  journaling calender challenge....i started off by running late with my January page and now i've caught up and I'm on April - see what i mean it's all or nothing lol!

January - this one does look a little different now, i've added alot of doodles but using a white pen so you can't really see it...but it is there i promise :)

February - one of my favourite stamps-Moth fab by Stampotique. I did a purple page as this is the colour of the birthstone Amethyst for February and everybody else was using red for valentines...it's looks a little blue on here but i'm sure that's my photography skills that i lack! ;)

March  page, this is how it started....

 This is how it finished......
i really enjoyed making this page and the colours are to represent spring. The stamps are by the octopede factory, i lurve Lily's designs :)

I found the quote on pinterest i think "if i was alice i would have never left wonderland" that sums me up to a T!

The background colours are of Tim's spring collection i used a drop of refill ink and made them into sprays and also used some of Dyan's spray's too..i've also used perfect pearls on the mushrooms, but again the photo's don't show this.

April-not quite finished yet but i used Dylusions ruby rainbow. In England, April usually means April showers,(although these days i'm surprised we haven't got webbed feet with the amount of rain we have!)so i thought i used a rainbow of colours as we do get many rainbow's at this time of year and if you want colour Dyan's sprays are the best for this!

The song "rain drops keep falling on my head" popped in my head while i was making this page so i had to put it in...i have been watching Kate's dvd so i had picked up a couple of ideas with what she was using and showing. i found a Claudine Hellmouth foam stamp, in my wee collection!, in the shape of raindrops - ideal i thought!

Thanks for looking
take care
